The position of Senior Implementation Consultant with Allscripts Healthcare IT (Australia) PTY. LTD. is responsible for utilizing senior level application and domain knowledge to assist clients to deploy and configure Allscripts solutions. A Senior Implementation Consultant will provide training and knowledge transfer to enable clients to utilize and manage the deployed solutions as well as mentor other associates to gain a deeper knowledge of Allscripts Solutions and methodology. The position is for the following specific duties and responsibilities:

Responsibilities

  • Working with Allscripts clients to formulate and document business requirements pursuant to detailed project plan and in accordance with the contracted project scope;
  • Identifying, investigating, and analyzing client business processes, procedures and work practices to guide system implementation and upgrades;
  • Identifying and evaluating troubleshoot issues and inefficiencies and recommending optimal business practices, and system functionality and behavior during the implementation of Allscripts products;
  • Delivering advice, guidance, and recommendations on system configuration and implementation best practice;
  • Using project management methodologies, principles and techniques to develop project plans and to cost, resource and manage projects;
  • Assisting the customer with the parameterization and configuration of necessary to deliver the functionality defined in the contract scope;
  • Lead system design, build process, deploying functional software solutions, such as creating, adopting and implementing system test plans, which ensure acceptable quality and integrity of the system for the client;
  • Design and prevent formal training documentation, and conducting formal training classes to transfer knowledge to Allscripts clients;
  • Developing functional specifications for use by system developers;
  • Using data and process modeling techniques to create clear system specifications for the design and development of system software for clients;
  • Liaise with the client, Project Managers, and Sales and Solution Consulting to understand the client’s conversation, go-live, and rollout strategies and to ensure the solution meets the client’s business needs;   
  • Acting as a central reference and information source, providing guidance and assistance in the system project decision making process; and
  • Work individually or as a member of the Allscripts sales and service team to identify, promote, and drive revenue opportunities.

Qualifications

Academic and professional qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent Clinical/Business experience

Experience:

  • Minimum 4-8 years related work experience OR;
  • Minimum 2-4 years internal Allscripts experience
  • Allscripts implementation experience required

Travel requirements:

  • Willing and able to travel up to 100% of the time, often with international assignments
