The primary purpose of this role is to provide general administrative support to the various teams & execute the IT process together with any associated & resultant activities in order to help support Allscripts products/engineers.

Responsibilities

  • Acts as initial point of contact for user support calls to the I.T. Helpdesk, (i.e., call logging, acknowledgement and closure) in order that all calls are logged correctly and promptly, and allocated appropriately within the IT team
  • Provides first-line technical support when handling calls, in order to provide time-of-call resolution to more basic support calls wherever possible
  • Provides an ad-hoc support service to users of all computer systems, troubleshooting and resolving systems problems
  • Carries out prescribed program of system performance monitoring, measurement, management and capacity planning for computer systems, in order that a pro-active approach may be taken to meeting changing system demands
  • Maintains awareness of test and / or quality standards

Qualifications

Academic and professional qualifications:

  • Associate's degree desirable

Experience:

 

 

- Need 1-3 years on International support in a Service Desk environment.

- Excellent communication skills.

- Good understanding of Supporting Windows, Office, VPN, Antivirus and other technologies.

- Clear understanding of Networking concepts.

- Logical frame of mind to support new issues.

- ITIL V3 Foundation certified preferred.

- Certification on Windows 7/8/10 preferred.

- Experience on Cisco Call Manager, CA Service Desk, MAC OS, Oracle, Clarity PPM, SFDC, ACD platforms preferred.
