    The primary purpose of this role is to be responsible for administrating, preparing, and reviewing payroll tax returns. Provide responses to government agency inquiries and administer W2 reporting in a multi-state, multi-FEIN environment. Filing timely accurate returns to the taxing authorities and jurisdictions as assigned. This includes federal tax filing, state tax, local, and disability as required.

    Responsibilities

    Performs duties necessary for the accurate calculation of wages, maintenance of records and distribution of payroll reports and withheld monies. Acts as a resource and provides leadership to Payroll Specialists.

     

    Competencies required:

    • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and manage multiple projects with hard deadlines simultaneously
    • Strong Project Documentation discipline
    • Strong analytical, problem solving skills including query skills
    • Understanding of how to build efficient business processes
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to work independently
    • Ability to work changing schedules in order to support International needs.

    Qualifications

     

     

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree or any other higher degree / qualifications
    • 4+ years of payroll experience predominately US Payroll processing
    • Skilled with Excel and Word
    • Positive attitude with strong inter-personal skills.
    • Highly-reliable, analytical, detailed-oriented person.
    • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
    • Self-starter that can take lead in working with accounting colleagues and operational personnel.
    • Ability to work effectively both as a team member and independently.

     

     

     

    Working Arrangements:

    • Working arrangements are normal for an office environment. Work may require occasional weekend and/or evening work 
    • Work is performed in a standard office environment with minimal exposure to health or safety hazards
