    The primary purpose of this role is to assist clients to deploy and configure Allscripts solutions and also provide training and knowledge transfer to enable clients to utilize and manage the deployed solutions.

    Responsibilities

    • Install, implement, configure, upgrade, troubleshoot, support, and optimize the performance of assigned technology required to operate client’s infrastructure environment.
    • Install, configure, monitor, troubleshoot, support, and resolve issues in assigned technology including hardware, software, operating system and application-related issues.
    • Conduct performance monitoring, system health checks, trending analysis.
    • Develop and maintain documentation related to technology installation, administration, and maintenance.
    • Assist in supporting installations, activations, and implementations.
    • Consistent efforts to deliver quality solutions as per agreed scope.
    • Customer focus and close alignment with the customers’ business objectives.
    • Ensure efforts to continually improve domain knowledge.
    • Ensure the quality of the deliverables as per the defined defects standards
    • Document issues with resolutions and share with team members to improve team productivity.
    • Fundamental understanding of modern ITSM principles to support incident, problem, and change management
    • Assist in the creation and upkeep of internal and client-facing documentation of the platform and associated deliverables
    • Provide data to generate team performance metrics.
    • Knowledge transfer with other team members to improve overall team education level
    • Take complete ownership of the assigned task and timely inform the progress of the project/task to all stakeholders.
    • Adherence to the defined standards.
    • Take initiative and drives to bring to a logical conclusion; proactive approach.
    • Provide accurate and timely information and escalates when there are issues.
    • Actively participate in meetings and make a valuable contribution.

    Qualifications

    Academic and professional qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent Clinical/Business experience

     

    Experience:

    • Typically requires 5+ years of experience.
    • Strong Understanding and knowledge of Windows operating system
    • Experience with Web server MS IIS/SSL required
    • Scripting experience (Powershell, ScriptCS) is required
    • Experience with Networks, Security, Active Directory, IP, DNS, SMTP, FTP, HTTP is required
    • Cloud and Virtualization such as Azure/AWS and experience in the delivery of IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS is required
    • Experience with Server Virtualization (Citrix/VMWare/HyperV) required
    • Experience with Load Balance Technologies (F5, Checkpoint, etc) is preferred
    • Experience with configuring, tuning, troubleshooting Microsoft SQL Server, SSRS, SSAS is preferred
    • Experience working in environments with heavy security focus is preferred
    • Experience deploying applications over large infrastructures is preferred
    • Experience in the configuration and administration of application performance monitoring tools such as New Relic is a plus
    • Experience with TFS and Visual Studio is a plus
    • Familiarity with build tools such as WIX and Install Shield is a plus

     

    Travel Requirements:

     

    • This position may require up to 10-20% travel.  

     

    Working Arrangements:

     

    • May be required to work overtime and/or overnight based on project demands
    • Work is performed in a standard office environment with minimal exposure to health or safety hazards
