    The primary purpose of this role is to

    Responsibilities

    Purpose of the role :

     

    To deliver and maintain books of accounts including Complex General Ledgers, Fixed Assets Module of Oracle R12. Doing Financial Close of all legal entities (India and Others), vendor and customer reconciliations. Strong mentorship and leadership to the team.

     

    Responsibilities :

     

    1. Supervising allocation of daily deliverables to the team
    2. Ensuring that deliverables are met as per timelines decided
    3. Keeping VP Finance and US stakeholders informed for any success stories or deviation in deliverables
    4. Setting Training plan for new team members and ensuring they come up to speed in minimal time
    5. Taking a lead in understanding any process changes/enhancements and ensuring that this information

        is communicated to the entire team

    1. Creating a quality check plan and ensuring quality checks are working for work processed by the team
    2. Being a Sr. Manager – act as a mentor to entire team, Team Leads, Associate Manager & Manager.
    3. Identify resources with training gaps and ensuring these gaps are appropriately addressed
    4. Lead and implement process improvement suggestions received from team, Team Leads, Associate Managers & Managers.
    1. Testing lead for any proposed enhancements and to work with Oracle teams to implement these successfully
    1. Co-ordination with other internal teams to ensure identification and elimination of roadblocks
    2. Single point of contact between VP Finance & Managers. Skip level contact for Team leads, Associate Managers & Team Members for any process related questions/issue or  any other issues
    1. Responsible for Hiring and coordinating with HR
    2. Clarify any doubts raised by the team and consult the VP Finance in case if further clarification is required
    1. Ensure the quality of output is as per SLA
    2. Mentor Managers as needed. Conducting regular one on ones with them & skip levels with team
    1. Driving Metrics on enhancing revenue collection, embedding controls to avoid failures, making

          processes simple and reduce complexity through automation

    1. Provide refresher / process training at regular intervals
    2. Knowledge of U.S. Healthcare industry is also preferable
    3. Reviewing required reports on the daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually which can help in decision making.
    1. Efficiently and effectively manage the Managers & AM’s and indirectly the team
    2. Able to handle conflicts in the team
    3. Able to identify best performers in the team based on Metrics reports and reward them in timely manner in consultation with the Manager & VP Finance.
    4. Keeping the Team spirit high and able to motivate the team members, team leads, Associate Manager & Managers.
    5. Knowledge of Oracle R12 is preferable
    6. Publishing the Quarterly Dashboards to top management, as neede
    7. Setting yearly GOALS for the team in consultation with VP Finance & US Director
    8. Responsible for yearly appraisal cycle & admin responsibilities of reporting employee
    9. Working of Job profiles creation for new roles, if needed for market analysis

    Qualifications

    Skills required :

     

    Expert knowledge in Accounting. Maintain accurate and timely books of accounts, provide expertise in Accounting Standards, Fixed Assets Accounting, Intercompany transactions. FX transactions, India Direct Taxation, Litigation Management,

     

    Academic and professional qualifications

    • Minimum Bachler’s Master degree 15+ years of work experience, or a Chartered Accountant with 12 to 15 years of experience of similar nature

     

    Experience

    • Previous General Ledger Accounting with managerial skills a must
    • Supervisory experience preferred
    • Strong analytical, time management and leadership skills
    • Excellent interpersonal skills; problem solver and effective decision- maker.
    • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret Customer Contracts.
    • Self-Starter, demonstrated job stability and a strong work ethic
    • Knowledge of Microsoft office
    • Proficient in Excel

     

    Travel requirements

    • As business need dictate

     

    Working Arrangements:

    • Work is performed in a standard office environment with minimal exposure to health or safety hazards
